HISTORY
Medicare Technology Limited was formed in 2001 through an MBO.

In December 2007 Medicare Technology was acquired by Drive Medical, one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of durable medical products in the United States.

From our 50,000 square foot distribution centre in Elland, West Yorkshire we aim to provide an unparalleled customer service, with rapid order processing and fast delivery to a network of dealers within UK, European and International markets.

Through continuous research into consumer requirements and a clear focus on quality, a careful selection and development process has occurred resulting in an innovative and quality range of mobility and healthcare products enabling consumers to live more independent lifestyles.

We continually strive to develop new products for our range, which currently includes:
Mobility Scooters and Accessories, Wheelchairs and Accessories, Powerchairs and Accessories, Walking Aids, Household Accessories, Rise & Recline Armchairs, Bathroom Accessories and Bedroom Accessories.

Drive Medical is also a UK distributor of the Linido range of products. Linido based in the Netherlands, is a manufacturer of safety products for use in the bath, shower and toilet areas. With 70 years of experience, Linido is a well-known specialist in this field, throughout the world.

All of our products conform to British and European Medical Device regulations as required. As a business we possess both ISO9001 and EN46001 Accreditation. To support our extensive range of products we also have a friendly and fully trained customer care department on hand to offer help and advice on any of our products. Our products are supplied through a national network of trusted dealers.
